Our client, who is the number one manufacturer of finished watches in the world, is looking for the Accountant with:

  • At least 5 years of experience in financial closing.
  • Federal Diploma as a Specialist in Finance and Accounting or experience at a "Big 5" auditing firm preferred.

Contract type: permanent

Languages: French and English

Ideal profile:

  • Organized and structured with a team-oriented mindset.
  • Very good knowledge of Excel.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics NAV is a plus.

Main responsibilities:

Accounts Payable:

  • Scanning and entering invoices and expense reports.
  • Preparing payments (DTA, e-banking, netting).
  • Handling reminders and dispute follow-ups.
  • Processing emails in generic email inboxes.

Accounts Receivable:

  • Invoicing extraordinary contributions.
  • Managing customer down payments.
  • Sending reminders and account statements.
  • Preparing Flash reporting.

General Accounting:

  • General accruals and provision calculations.
  • Calculating and posting tax entries.
  • Reconciling inter-division transactions.
  • Monthly and annual financial closings.
  • Balance sheet and subsidiary ledger reconciliations.
  • VAT statement preparation and control.

Fixed Assets:

  • Managing acquisitions and disposals.
  • Depreciation and inventory tracking.

Inventory Management:

  • Monthly reconciliations.
  • Provision calculations.
  • Slow-mover analysis.
  • NRV (Net Realizable Value) calculations.
  • Preparing and participating in product and precious metals inventories.

Treasury:

  • Entering bank transactions.
  • Weekly cash forecast reporting.
  • Monitoring precious metals weight accounts, including weekly and monthly reporting.
