Revenue Accountant

The position works closely with the Manager, Revenue accounting to capture and record necessary data to ensure that revenue and costs has been recorded in accordance with company policy and accounting regulations and is responsible for the control and reconciliation of inventories of Masimo International and its subsidiaries.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assist in intercompany revenue process and controls, from order placement to invoice booking
  • Perform periodic inventory control and reconciliations.
  • Perform monthly and quarterly revenue accounting close procedures relating to revenue, deferred revenue, and cost of goods including journal entry preparation, posting, account reconciliation, analysis and reporting
  • Assist with processes over the Revenue recognition cycle, Ensure revenue and costs are booked accurately and in accordance to US GAAP guidelines including arrangements with multiple elements
  • Assist in the maintenance deferred revenue schedules requiring manual recognition
  • Assist in the maintenance of records and ensure timely booking of accruals for revenue, COGS, inventory adjustments
  • Assist in preparation of quarterly and ad-hoc Sales Reporting to support Senior Management
  • Assist in periodic updates to the Policies for the account receivables and revenue recognition process as well as related internal controls
  • Assist with Financial and SOX audits
  • Assist with statutory compliance for revenue, cogs and inventory reconciliation.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Finance / accounting degree or equivalent.
  • Self-motivation and the ability to work in a fast paced, forward moving environment
  • Experience working in a US company and multinational environment is a plus
  • Good English oral and written skills, other languages an advantage
  • Proficient user of MS office, with a strong focus on Excel.

Education:

  • Master’s / Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting or equivalent
