JOB TITLE: Procurement & Planning SME

START DATE: 20.01.2025

DURATION: 12 months

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Maintain updated delivery planning from order creation until receipt.
  2. Coordinate operational activities for material release (Lead tiers meeting).
  3. Decide on order modifications and respond directly to suppliers (accept quantity changes, delivery date postponements).
  4. Provide visibility on stock out dates to other departments to aid their activities (sampling, testing, release).
  5. Initiate escalation processes when blocking points are identified (e.g., late order postponement, critical items below safety stock).
  6. Lead daily “Raw Material Tiers” meetings and assign actions as necessary.
  7. Analyze MRP non-BOM messages and create new orders accordingly.
  8. Engage in continuous improvement activities, including creating and updating tutorials for Raw Material Supply Chain Activities.

Internal Main Contacts:

  • Warehouse: Support for receiving issues and smooth delivery planning based on capacity.
  • QA: Coordinate release flow and provide visibility/prioritization when needed.
  • Laboratory: Coordinate testing flow and order placement for laboratory items in ERP.
  • Finance: Support for invoice matching.
  • Purchasing: Day-to-day business coordination with suppliers.
  • Buyers/planners from other plants: IPSO requests.

External Main Contacts:

  • Suppliers: Follow up on open orders from sending to receipt, clarify delivery dates.
  • Participate in operational meetings as needed.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or equivalent.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry.

Critical / Key Skills:

  • Knowledge of a GMP environment.
  • Team spirit and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple topics with rigor and methodology.
  • Prioritization skills.

Language & IT Skills:

  • Proficient in ERP.
  • MS Office.
  • Advanced level of English.
