Business Manager
Your role and responsibilitiesWe are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Sales to spearhead the global expansion of our cutting-edge visual AI solution. You'll build and inspire a high-performing sales team, develop an effective sales strategy, drive revenue growth and forge strategic partnerships. In this role you will be part of the management team and directly report to the Business Manager. The work model for the role is hybrid. You will be mainly accountable for:
- Creating, planning, and implementing the sales mission, vision, and strategy, along with the budget and efficiency targets for the assigned area.
- Defining key sales targets and establishing appropriate metrics and measurement tools to monitor performance.
- Developing and implementing strategic business development plans, identifying and prioritizing key target markets and accounts.
- Actively driving business development and sales activities and leading the negotiation of key B2B customer contracts.
- Managing one of our market verticals: identifying key players and their needs and generating leads to grow sales in your vertical.
- Coordinating and influencing external and internal stakeholders throughout the customer journey to secure high sales volumes and customer satisfaction.
- Building up the sales team and supervising two current sales members.
- Leading our marketing specialist and being ultimately accountable for all marketing activities.
- Fostering an inclusive and high-performance culture in the sales and marketing team.
- Completed university degree in a technical or business discipline.
- 10-15 years of B2B sales experience in the technical industry.
- Experience in the robotics or automation industry is a plus.
- Good knowledge of material handling processes using AGVs & AMRs, or service robotics such as autonomous floor cleaning is preferred.
- Proven track record in successfully leading teams.
- Analytical attitude with outstanding presentation and communication skills.
- Willingness to travel: 10-20%.
- Fluency in English (German is a plus).
