Senior Corporate Credit Analyst

Broadgate Search have partnered with a leading Private Bank in their search for a Senior Corporate Credit Risk Analyst in Zurich, Switzerland.

You will work in the Risk Management Department of a small team of experts focused on critically managing and reviewing the risk profile of the bank. In this role, your main responsibility will be to provide corporate credit analysis for a growing business segment. Versatility is required in this small team.

What will you do?

  1. Perform credit analysis for new transactions and annual reviews
  2. Monitoring of financial covenants
  3. Assist the first line of defense in portfolio management
  4. Ensure an up to date policy framework on corporate banking activity
  5. Measure and manage the risk appetite around corporate lending activities together with the first line of defense
  6. Provide comprehensive reporting to the Management

MUST HAVE REQUIREMENTS
  1. a master’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field
  2. FRM or CFA would be an advantage
  3. at least 5 years of experience in a similar position with relevant credit risk experience, preferably within an Investment Bank, Corporate Bank, Private Equity house or private debt provider
  4. Experience in the Swiss banking market
  5. strong ability to identify, analyze, summarize, derive conclusions and provide relevant recommendations on a variety of credit risk related topics
  6. The ability to formulate a clear and compelling analysis and present this to senior stakeholders
  7. Sound understandings of trends in regulation, both from ECB/ EBA and FINMA
  8. excellent verbal and written communication skills
  9. growth mind set and team spirit
  10. Flexibility to help out other colleagues from the risk department in case of downtime
  11. Fluent in English, French and/or German would be an asset (written and spoken)
