Product Manager for Sustainment in BU Motion & Bellows, m/w (100%)

YOUR CHALLENGES

  1. Owning the responsibility for the sustainment and maintenance of the assigned Motion & Bellows Product Portfolio
  2. Ensuring product and performance enhancements of the product portfolio
  3. Gather and analyze feedback from customers, field support teams, sales and other stakeholders to identify trends and prioritize sustainment activities
  4. Create and maintain a sustainment roadmap that aligns with the company’s strategic goals
  5. Conducting and managing CIP and value engineering projects including efforts to achieve the required annual cost down targets
  6. Drive execution technically and commercially in partnership with internal teams
  7. Manage and support the product life cycle during defined phases (CIP’s, Customization, phase-out, pricing, training, marketing documentation)
  8. Ensure that the right actions are taken to investigate, resolve and anticipate problems within the assigned portfolio
  9. Recommending improvements in procurement activities to reduce supply chain risks and cost down activities
  10. Supporting the sales entities of VAT group in customer product presentations, technical clarifications and negotiations
  11. Training sales engineers and customers
  12. Establishing technical customer documentation like manuals and product data sheets according to European machinery directive
YOUR COMPETENCIES

  1. Bachelor degree in mechanical engineering, master degree is advantageous, but with a good know how of mechanical and electrical systems.
  2. Additional degree in economics and / or marketing or successful record of accomplishment in a commercial position.
  3. Experience in product management within the vacuum industry.
  4. Profound experience of the sales process (mechanisms) of high tech components in a highly consolidated market environment on a global scale.
  5. Strong entrepreneurship and strategic thinking, analytical and communication skills to structure and influence discussions within the team as well as senior management and stakeholders
  6. Knowledge of Semiconductor market and the relevant processes.
  7. Solid experience in managing international projects
  8. Monitor market developments and requirements which influence the motion components business
  9. Fluent business English skills written and spoken
  10. Willingness to travel internationally (approx. 10%)
