Inside Sales Specialist

MAIN ROLE AND ACTIVITIES

  1. Develop sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails.
  2. Understand customer needs and requirements and advise on appropriate product selection.
  3. Respond to requests for quotes, applications assistance, and resolving customer issues.
  4. Provide direct support for Direct sales managers, channel partners, and distributors.
  5. Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales manager for further development and closure.
  6. Close sales through diligent follow-up and achieve quarterly quotas.
  7. Research accounts, identify key players, and generate interest.
  8. Maintain and expand your database of prospects within the assigned territory.
  9. Team with channel partners to build pipeline and close deals.
  10. Participate in sales team meetings and take responsibility for sales improvement through initiatives and other assigned action items.
  11. Input and track customer engagements via CRM system.
  12. Proactively drive the sales pipeline by ensuring all quotations and opportunities are entered in the VAT CRM system and followed up through completion.
  13. Provide technical support to sales channels and distribution partners (email/phone/onsite).
KEY EXPERIENCES - What experiences bring success to this position?

  1. Preferred experience of direct or indirect sales including agent representations.
  2. Base knowledge of CRM administration or data maintenance.
  3. Business Diploma or Degree preferred.
  4. Proficient in full Microsoft Office suites, especially Excel.
  5. Ability to demonstrate good written and oral English and German communication skills.
