This role supports the Head of SHEQ with the quality, safety, health, welfare and environmental aspects across our Wisbech and March sites. The position provides day‑to‑day management and coordination of systems, documents and processes, and acts as the first point of contact for the department. Requirements Minimum NEBOSH General Certificate, or willingness to train and acquire formal H&S qualifications Confidence to train employees in H&S topics and assist with inductions and presentations Competent in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint Excellent verbal and written communication skills Highly organised, self‑prioritising, proactive with accuracy and attention to detail Ability to interact with all customers, both internal and external Full driving licence and own transport Role: Safety Management Systems Ensure safe management systems are in place, including method statements and SSOW reviews Support company preparation for audits and update systems on SHEQ‑related legislation Communicate company standards and requirements through inductions and safety training Maintain a safe operating culture and engage employees in safe working practices Investigate all non‑driving related accidents, update documentation and report to relevant bodies Support annual H&S audits and quality assurance (BRCGS, TASCC, SEDEX) Conduct internal audits and manage risk assessment forms (general, manual handling, COSHH, etc.) Develop and implement SOPs/SSOW within the business Encourage teamwork and maintain high health, safety, hygiene and security standards Candidate Experience SHE Advisor Health and Safety Coordinator SHE Officer Health and Safety Advisor Health and Safety Officer Health and Safety Manager Health and Safety Consultant Health and Safety Specialist HSE Executive HES Auditor Health and Safety Risk Assessor #J-18808-Ljbffr
