Agricultural Equipment Technician

**Group NB**, a leading staffing and recruitment agency in the Transportation, Logistics and Supply Chain industries is currently seeking, for a **Journeyman/woman heavy-duty equipment mechanic**in **Lethbridge, AB**

**Below are minimum qualifications required for the position**
- Fluent in English
- Strong experience as a mechanical technician on tractors and heavy vehicles
- Experience in agriculture
- Must have certification in the following areas: engine, hydraulics, transmission.
- Major asset: John Deere certification, as all their equipment is John Deere.

**Schedule**:Evening, Shift, On Call, Morning

**Wage: $35 CAD/per hour**

**Languages**:English

**Education**: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

**Experience**: minimum of 5 years experience

**Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.**

**Tasks**
- Instruct apprentices
- Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions
- Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine extentof repair required
- Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts
- Test repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that work meets manufacturers' specifications
- Clean, lubricate and perform other maintenance work
- Perform repair work on heavy trucks
- Verify and repair emission control systems
- Perform other routine maintenance

**Credentials**
- **Certificates, licenses, memberships, and courses**_
- Agricultural Equipment Technician Red Seal Certificate
- Must have certification in the following areas: engine, hydraulics, transmission
- Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
- John Deere certification

Pay: CHF22.00 per hour
