PAVE Space is building LYOBA, a heavy kick stage moving up to 4-ton payloads from LEO to high-energy orbits in under 24 hours. So, why now? Test benches across the kick stage's systems are converging on commissioning at the same time and several more are already in the pipeline. Without one person holding the timelines, the specs, and the cross-team...

PAVE Space is building LYOBA, a heavy kick stage moving up to 4-tonne payloads from LEO to high-energy orbits in under 24 hours. The current revision of the flight computer exists in hardware. A light revision is due by Q2 2027 to support an IOD mission flying in 2028, but that's the starting line, not the finish. The real weight of this role is in...

PAVE Space is building LYOBA, a heavy kick stage moving over 4-tonne payloads from LEO to high-energy orbits in under 24 hours. Engine parts, structural castings, printed thrust chambers from external bureaus, fluid components, electronics, every one of them passes through your hands before it touches a vehicle. That's the job. Engine and structural hardware...

PAVE Space is building LYOBA, a heavy kick stage moving over 4-tonne payloads from LEO to high-energy orbits in under 24 hours. The engine has parts no one can mill; thrust chambers with internal cooling channels, complex injectors, regen geometry that only exists because additive manufacturing makes it possible. None of those parts fly without the person we...
