We are LEDCity, a cleantech start-up founded in Zurich, with the goal of reducing energy consumption in the lighting sector worldwide by 80%. To achieve this, we are developing a globally deployable lighting system that uses sensors to control the lighting according to demand.

Tasks

Main Tasks:

  • With passion and empathy, you will lead, mentor and manage the sales team in the region, ensuring they have the necessary resources, training, and guidance to perform optimally.
  • You will build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including major clients and partners in the Romandie market.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy specific to the Romandie region that aligns with the company's overall sales strategy.
  • You will analyze market trends and data to provide accurate sales forecasts, allowing the company to make informed business decisions.
  • You will set and monitor sales targets for the team, ensuring consistent performance and addressing any areas of concern promptly.
  • You make sure to increase the customer base of LEDCity and find new revenue streams in Romandie.
  • Of course, you will also be managing your own pipeline on a long-term base.

Side Tasks:

  • Continuously research and understand the Romandie market's dynamics, including competition, customer preferences, and potential growth areas.
  • Provide insights to the product development team based on feedback from clients and market demands in Romandie, ensuring the product offerings remain competitive and relevant.
  • You will attend events with target clients.
Requirements

Your Must Have’s

  • No one gets past you: you are a natural salesperson.
  • You have a minimum of 3 years of sales work experience – preferably in the acquisition of (B2B) customers and building up business relations maybe even in the lighting sector.
  • You have a well-maintained network in Western Switzerland.
  • You have experience in team leadership and can get your team to perform at its best.
  • You are outgoing: With your friendly manner and persuasiveness, you can convince potential customers of saving energy.
  • You possess a start-up and hands-on mentality with the necessary portion of flexibility and a strong willingness to learn.
  • You are interested in sustainability and the latest technologies.
  • You have excellent written and oral French skills and a good command of English.

Your Nice to Have’s

  • Established connections within the Real Estate industry.
  • Prior exposure to the lighting industry.
  • Command of the German language.
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce functionalities and applications.
