As Legal Counsel, you will play a crucial role in providing legal support and guidance across various functions within the company. Your primary responsibilities will include:



  • Legal Operations:
    • Streamlining legal processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Managing legal databases and ensuring they are up-to-date and accurate.
    • Overseeing contract management, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts.
    • Leveraging AI technologies to optimize legal operations and staying abreast of advancements in AI within the legal market.


  • German Commercial Contracts:
    • Assisting in the preparation, review, and negotiation of commercial contracts for both the Swiss and German markets.
    • Ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations in Switzerland and Germany.
    • Providing legal advice on commercial transactions and business strategies.


  • General Legal Support:
    • Offering legal counsel on a wide range of matters, including corporate governance, compliance, and regulatory issues.
    • Collaborating with various departments to mitigate legal risks and support business objectives.
    • Conducting legal research and staying informed on relevant legal developments.



  • Educational Background:
    • A degree in Law (LL.B or equivalent); an advanced degree (LL.M or equivalent) is a plus.
    • Admission to the bar in Switzerland or Germany is preferred.


  • Professional Experience:
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a legal counsel, ideally within a multinational company or a reputable law firm.
    • Proven expertise in handling commercial contracts, particularly within the Swiss and German markets.
    • Strong background in legal operations, including process optimization and database management.
    • Familiarity with AI applications in the legal field is highly desirable.


  • Skills and Competencies:
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Proficient in German and English; additional languages are an asset.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
    • High attention to detail and a proactive approach to legal challenges.
