Supply Chain Systems & Process CoordinatorDescription Position Summary All cross-border business that is donethroughout the world is being routed through Omya International AG.All direct business for our Calcium Carbonates is routed throughthe Customer Service at the headquarters in Oftringen. We ensure asmooth process/service for the direct customers/key accounts andOmya selling units. The Customer Service team including thelogistics team processes the orders, arranges shipments, createsdocuments for export purposes, controls the freight charges, andhas the responsibility to ensure timely delivery to the receiver ofthe goods. The organization of transports via different modes(Sea/Truck/Air) requires the implementation and continuous usage ofLogistics related IT-Systems & Tools, which are either alreadyimplemented or should be integrated in the future. KeyAccountabilities - Oversees the day to day operation andconfiguration of the Order- & Transport Management System(OMS/TMS), including user management, troubleshooting and systemmaintenance - Support the Project Management of the implementationof the OMS/TMS within the area of responsibility - Identifyinefficiencies in transport workflows and use OMS/TMS features tostreamline processes, enhance planning, route optimization, andcarrier selection - Support the Lead Buyer with data analysis fortransport performance metrics, costs, and service levels; provideactionable insights to improve logistics performance - Work withlogistics, IT, customer service, and third-party carriers to ensurealignment of TMS functionalities with business needs - Lead thetesting and implementation of OMS/TMS updates and new features,ensuring minimal disruption to operations and training team memberson new functionalities - Support Logistics Team as back-up for dayto day operations, such as freight purchasing or inventorymanagement Key requirements - Commercial education, with 3+ yearsof experience in logistics management and/or supply chain - Highaffinity with digital tools, SAP and good Excel and PowerBI skillsare a plus (Hands-on experience with TMS software) - Strong,assertive team spirit and communication skills - Very goodconnected thinking - Good sense of responsibility - Experience withlogistics-related IT applications. - Knowledge of user training andadaptation of SaaS solutions is desirable - A connection to theinternational logistics and the maritime sector is ideal -Excellent communication skills, capable of translating technicalrequirements into actionable steps for cross-functional teams -Project management experience is a plus - Advanced English &German skills (one of both native), French or any other language isan advantage - Teamplayer, customer focused, curios Contact TalentManagement Partner, Simone Michelotti Mail: jobs.ch@omya.com Tel.:+41 62 789 25 27 Apply Now
