About Our Client
Our client is a strong growing global bank specializing in a wide range of corporate and investment banking solutions. The position involves leading client engagement and transaction origination for Swiss multinational and international mid-cap corporates in the German speaking part of Switzerland. The role requires in-depth expertise in multi-asset Financial Markets products, hedging, structuring and executing complex transactions, and maintaining strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders. You will be the trusted advisor, providing insights into financial risk management, industry trends, and fostering cross-business opportunities within the Bank.

Job Description
  • Develop and nurture strong relationships with a portfolio of corporate clients, including listed blue-chip companies.
  • Cover a multi-asset product spectrum (Rates, FX, Commodities, and Equity Derivatives), with a focus on Rates and complex, value-added products.
  • Act as a strategic partner for financial risk-related matters for clients in Switzerland and beyond.
  • Engage clients on industry developments, such as sustainability, regulation, and innovation.
  • Manage end-to-end processes, including pre-lead, pitching, onboarding, and execution, in collaboration with deal teams across departments and geographies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including sector groups, trading, and research, to deliver joint client solutions.
  • Drive cross-selling of Financial Markets solutions by establishing connections across internal teams and stakeholders.
  • Liaise with Legal, Compliance, and Risk teams to ensure adherence to operational guidelines and organizational standards.
  • Operate within Know Your Customer (KYC) guidelines and uphold the organization's code of conduct.
  • Focus on Switzerland, with an emphasis on the Zurich area.


The Successful Applicant
  • Experienced professional in Financial Markets with an academic background (degree in Economics, CFA, or equivalent)
  • At least 7-15 years of experience in Rates with corporate clients.
  • Proficiency in German and English (written and verbal).
  • Strong commercial and analytical skills to craft product-driven solutions tailored to client needs.
  • Proven track record in corporate sales and revenue generation in Financial Markets.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of multi-asset origination and related products.
  • Collaborative team player with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
  • Self-motivated, pragmatic, and eager to learn.
  • Demonstrated ability to initiate and sustain long-term client relationships.
  • Entrepreneurial, commercially driven, and results-focused.
