Research Assistant in Macroeconomics and Public Finance

Your tasks You will contribute to our ongoing research projects in macro public finance, covering topics on inequality, taxation, student financing policies, human capital accumulation, and young household savings patterns. Your tasks will include
- working with extensive survey and administrative data
- producing key statistics and performing econometric analysis
- research on institutional settings in Switzerland
- literature research
- has at least some basic knowledge of R, Python or Stata
- applies critical thinking to data and has interest in economic theory
- is intrinsically motivated to solve complex problems
- feels comfortable to work in a small team and
- has a very good foundation in statistics or econometrics
