Tasks

You will lead our team responsible for cargo pricing, market analytics, our distribution channel strategy and tender handling. In close collaboration with relevant stakeholders, you further develop and enforce the pricing guidelines & supporting tools to skim the willingness to pay of our customers.

  • Further develop and enforce our pricing framework for all commercial offers of SWC
  • Refine and execute our distribution channel strategy
  • Handling of incoming tenders from shippers and forwarders
  • Development and provision of tools to facilitate and improve data driven price setting competence
  • Provision of market research and business intelligence analysis
  • Further refine and enforce effective pricing guidelines and policies
  • Leading and developing your staff

Requirements
  • 10+ years of professional experience in the field of cargo pricing or cargo commercial
  • 5+ years of leadership experience ideally combined with management of large projects
  • Innovative mind-set paired with an entrepreneurial and solution-oriented spirit
  • Analytical skills paired with the ability to explain complex issues in an easy-to-understand way
  • Expertise and/or strong affinity to digital data management & analytics is an asset
  • Strong communication skills and professional negotiation skills
  • Ability to drive business and change
  • Fluent communication/writing skills in English
