The Manager Brand Content is responsible for leading the transcreation and deployment of online and offline content marketing and optimization with the objective to drive consistent positive customer relationships and business growth for PMI Duty Free.

The incumbent holds the accountability of communication and content development and deployment of concept, master communications, visual guidance for all portfolio based projects (promos, campaigns, product launches, limited edition product offers, portfolio cycles) initiated by Portfolio and Commercial teams.

This includes driving the project cross-functionally and ensuring deployment of omni-channel toolboxes and consistency of content. The individual also leads critical and high complexity projects as a project lead.

Use a wide range of offline and online marketing touchpoints which includes Key Visuals, Digital Platforms, Visual Merchandising, Digital Media content to accelerate awareness, education and conversions of consumers as well as creatively activating our digital tools with the objective of delivering highly personalized messages and ability to dial up local relevance among different consumer segments.


You will:

  • Lead the development of an agile communication strategy with input from consumer experience teams and channel teams. To develop content strategy and messaging for key campaigns, work closely with deployment teams on campaign guidance and deployment for our Smoke-Free Products and conventional cigarettes commercialization strategy.
  • Supervise 3rd party creative and content agencies and work closely with global conventional cigarettes teams to develop toolboxes for Duty Free. Ideation and creation of communication collaterals that compel target audience into further actions.
  • Lead for development of concept, master communications, visual guidance for portfolio promo communications and lead projects of high complexity and provide supervision to IBS (integrated business support) teams. Online and Offline content strategy – contact point for global master assets creation team. Offline and online content transcreation and management of all comms support including key visuals, digital comms, and visual merchandising and other point of sale materials for duty free working with IBS teams.
  • Lead the conventional cigarettes content stream for Duty Free Marketing working closely with all teams including Duty Free Conventional Cigarettes Director and Business Unit Deployment teams.
  • Liaise with digital team for delivery of digital media amplification by creating and implementing campaigns that will drive brand awareness, sales conversion and increase customer retention using our digital platforms.
  • Deployment across all touchpoints (thematic campaigns) and accountable for quality of final deployments. Risk management and content compliance to brand & legal requirements.
  • Lead and guide IBS (integrated business solutions) teams on transcreation projects and regional BU needs.
  • Lead content development budget, in line with original budget and forecasts. Monitor content effectiveness and consumer feedback.

We're looking for someone with:

  • Degree or equivalent experience in Digital Marketing / E-commerce / Marketing / Communication or equivalent.
  • Minimum 10 years of working experience in brand marketing / digital content making / publishing. Demonstrate excellent taste on creating or curating multiple types of content, and are well connected to various communities / media. Experience in engaging with different business teams and influencing people; project management and communication, as well as some planning and budget skills are an asset, Out of the box creative thinking passion.
  • Sound Learning mindset and capability, analytical thinking, project management. Strong Influencing / Communication / Collaboration / Interpersonal Skills (for cross-teams and function alignment). Agile and able to operate in complex and demanding, changing environment and long-term time developments.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken
