The Strategic Program Manager Finance Platform plays a crucial role in Julius Baer Group within the Finance Change & Platform department. You will closely collaborate with CFO functions, Business Functions, and IT.
YOUR TASKS

This position is pivotal in shaping the Finance organization for the future. As the Strategic Program Manager Finance Platform, your responsibilities include:

  • Manage major programs and projects for Finance Transformation, focusing on integrating WM business, Client offering, and Treasury topics in the Core Finance Platform to enhance Business Steering and Performance Management
  • Drive the global Finance TOM development with a focus on Markets, Treasury, Banking Operations, and Core Finance interaction, aligning with investments in banking and trading books along with WM business
  • Collaborate closely with Treasury, Pricing, and Product shops to oversee system, tool, and data foundation implementation within the Finance Transformation context
  • Ensure Program Governance and Planning, manage internal and external dependencies, address risks diligently, prepare key decisions with high quality and impact analysis
  • Support core Finance business and IT architecture development to enhance efficiency, automation, and steering focusing on WM business, Client offering, and Treasury topics
YOUR PROFILE

The ideal candidate has strong experience in Finance, Finance technology, and change management within the financial services industry, preferably in private or investment banking, and exposure to innovation & transformation trends.

They excel in dealing with ambiguity, driving results, demonstrating managerial courage, and acting as a coach for stakeholders within and outside the core Finance organization. Building strong relationships with various stakeholders is a key strength.

The successful candidate should have:

  • Proven experience in a leadership role in private or investment banking within the financial services industry
  • Broad knowledge of investments in banking and trading books, PB Client Product and Service offering, and their reflection in the Finance sphere
  • Understanding of technology/solutions used in Finance Domains such as SAP and other Finance related systems
  • Extensive experience in delivering large projects/programs in both traditional and agile methodologies
  • Visionary thinking with a hands-on and solution-oriented mindset
  • Ability to build and manage high performing teams, effective communication with all levels of the organization
  • Willingness to drive the Finance organization towards its defined goals in the Finance Transformation program
  • Commitment to teamwork, strong social competence, and stakeholder management skills
  • University degree in Business Economics, Engineering, or equivalent
  • Fluent in English, German preferred, additional language skills are beneficial
