Main goal
The Marketing BI Analyst is responsible for managing business intelligence and data analytics within the
Marketing division. The position-holder ensures that core marketing reporting is delivered through stable and
appropriate platforms to meet the needs of all stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
1.
Defining key performance indicators (KPIs) and measurements:

  • Collaborating closely with marketing stakeholders and business teams to continuously understand their

objectives

  • Defining relevant KPIs aligned with business goals
  • Establishing success measures and measurement frameworks for marketing campaigns and product launches

Delivering reporting and data analysis:

  • Creating and delivering timely, accessible reporting that empowers marketing teams to make data-driven

decisions with actionable insights

  • Presenting recurring business reviews across competitions, products, campaigns and channels
  • Analysing marketing performance, including the success of product launches, campaign effectiveness and

channel impact, providing actionable insights to optimise marketing strategies

Providing self-service analytics:

  • Defining strategies to leverage technology and digital analytics across teams, enhancing marketing metrics and

strategies

  • Acting as a technical bridge between business owners and developers/analysts
  • Supporting and training key users in self-service analytics, enabling them to conduct their own analyses using

user-friendly tools

  • Fostering a culture of continuous improvement
  • Collaborating with ICT and data engineering teams to approve data integration into UEFA data platforms,

ensuring data quality and integrity in digital analytics and self-service tools
Profile
Experience required:

  • from 4 to 6 years experience in marketing analytics, business intelligence or data management

Education:

  • Bachelor's in marketing, business, data science or a related field
  • Masters would be a plus

Languages:

  • English / Proficient

Additional requirements:

  • Strong analytical skills, including the ability to use SQL and to break complex data scenarios down into

digestible components

  • Familiarity with digital marketing channels including email, push notifications and paid media platforms (e.g.

DV360, Meta)

  • Proven experience in digital performance metrics and analytics (especially GA4)
  • An understanding of customer data platform tools and marketing automation platforms
  • Proficiency in data visualisation tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI)
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to present complex data to non-technical stakeholders
  • Willingness and ability to recommend and test new ideas, measure success and pivot as needed
  • Familiarity with privacy and data-sharing laws such as GDPR
  • Detail and process-oriented mindset with strong project management skills
  • Ability to build positive working relationships with cross-functional teams
