Product Owner vacancy requiring profound Trading knowledge for our Basel based client in the financial sector.

Your tasks:

  • Driving the execution of all product life cycle processes from initiation to production delivery
  • Defining and communicating product vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with business objectives
  • Translating product strategy into actionable requirements with targeted deliveries
  • Maintaining the Trade Management System's product strategy based on business demand and team initiatives
  • Serving as the main point-of-contact for business areas and other teams regarding changes to the Trade Management System
  • Collaborating with business area leads to maintain and prioritize the backlog of changes for the Trade Management System

Your experience/knowledge:

  • 5+ years of experience of which at least 3 years supporting business applications as a Product Owner/Product Manager in a financial institution
  • Strong knowledge of the full software life cycle and the financial trade life cycle
  • Solid background with trade management systems in a treasury or asset management business
  • In-depth understanding of agile methodologies and experience working in agile development teams
  • Familiarity with OpenLink Findur/Endur would be very advantageous
  • University-level degree in information management, computer science, finance, or equivalent professional work experience

Your soft skills:

  • Ability to facilitate meetings, gather ideas of a group and distill information to report to management
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
