THE ROLE:

SR. TRADE MARKETING MANAGERROLE

You will be responsible for leading Clairol Innovation Design from the Trade Marketing side and translating it into a compelling category growth story for our retail partners.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Key yearly deliverables

    1. Category Growth Story – Strong cooperation with GMKT & CMI is needed to deliver updates on the long-term story. Pre-engagement with key markets to align the direction. Support in local adaptation.
    2. In-store vision – a reflection of CGS in shelf environment. Assessment of learning plan needs/opportunities. Pre-engagement with key markets to align the direction. Support in local adaptation.
    3. Global Success Model – update to include the latest learnings/knowledge and next FY innovation guidance. Coordination of MFT work across GSM pillars. Support in local adaptation.
    4. OWC – contribution with GTM deliverables (ie. category growth potential)
  2. Innovation-level deliverables
    1. Close coop with GMKT to influence the innovation scope – to include CGS angle. Inputs to learning plan (esp. pricing & SOV / TITUTA).
    2. Ownership of Concept Sell, incl. strong storytelling skills and passion to deliver markets' supported retailers' appealing message track.
      1. Coordination of GMFT engagement and deliverables (ie. R&D / GMKT / CMI)
      2. Strong cooperation with markets to proactively address the feedback and maximize co-creation
      3. Support markets & Comm Opps in top retailers preparations (ie. WMT summit, ASW negotiations etc.)
    3. Lead & own GTM strategies for each inno (G2M & 5Ps global reco) incl.
      1. Strong global position & thought through recommendation
      2. High-quality GTM inputs for each gate
      3. Co-leading conversion / E&O discussion with GLCM, GILs & LMFT
      4. Contribute to POSM & toolkit preps with in-store / retailer needs
      5. Cooperation with SRM team to drive pricing opportunities with/through innovations
    4. Lead FFU process incl.
      1. GMFT engagement & readiness for market discussion and FFU deployment
      2. Support LMFT on the way to inputs and be markets' advocate in the process
      3. Coordinate GMFT review & feedback
      4. Lead final FFU alignments before the gate
    5. Lead Commercial Readiness:
      1. Own the status and discussion points
      2. Be a guardian of CR towards GMFT, flag risks, and be a timekeeper for key milestones
      3. Engage GMFT in the mitigation plans alignments with markets

Key Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in Trade Marketing / Sales / Brand Management role (Beauty / Cosmetics experience is a plus)
  • Excellent understanding of retail: pricing, promotion, distribution, merchandising
  • Experience in working with top global mass retailers (focus on US and UK)
  • Both local and international experience an advantage
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize effectively and work under pressure.
  • Highly detailed with strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Ability to develop effective working relationships, both internally & externally
  • Demonstrates a proactive attitude and flexible approach.
  • Degree in related discipline or equivalent
  • High level of numeracy and excellent PC skills
  • Able to demonstrate a creative flair and a passion for the brands
