THE ROLE:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Senior Specialist to offer vital support to our HR department. The HR Senior Specialist will oversee administrative tasks related to employee lifecycles, engagement and culture initiatives, and dashboard reporting, enhancing the overall efficiency of the HR function.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain and update employee records, inclusive of personal information, attendance, leave, and HR documentation.
- Supervise employee lifecycle changes such as new hires, terminations, promotions, and transfers.
- Handle employee relations, addressing demands, grievances, and other issues; recording disciplinary actions as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations, company policies, and relevant laws.
- Lead employee training on HR policies and programs; conduct monthly onboarding sessions.
- Evaluate and propose benefits options, collaborating with insurers and brokers to cater to company and employee needs.
- Perform data analysis to aid HR decision-making, identifying trends and generating insights.
- Manage HR department correspondence, including emails, phone calls, and mail handling.
- Support global initiatives by gathering and consolidating data on budget, talent management, and best practices.
- Conduct ad hoc analytics and ensure data quality by running reports and validating data extracted from the core HR system.
- Cooperate closely with the payroll department to guarantee data accuracy.
QUALIFICATIONS
Essential
- Minimum 5 years of business experience in a similar position, ideally in FMCG and international companies
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Accustomed to working in an international environment and capable of thinking global and acting local
- Detail-oriented and eager to structure work effectively
- Capable of handling confidential data responsibly as an HR professional
- Driven by Results – committed, proactive, and efficient
- Fluent in both English and French (written and spoken)
- Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Proficiency in SAP, Payroll, MIS
Desirable
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred
- Project management skills with a focus on task completion
- Ability to work independently
- Aptitude for collaborating across cultures and organizational levels
