Join us in an Investment Specialist - EMEA role within the Credit Investments Group, part of UBS Asset Management with a focus on client servicing.
This is an opportunity to join a leading global credit manager, and be an integral part of the team's global marketing and client effort. The role sits at the intersection of the investment team, clients, and products. Your role will require a deep understanding of the global credit markets, the team's investment process, product solutions and clients. Your responsibilities will include dealing with day-to-day client requests, client reporting, preparing marketing materials, leading the completion of DDQs and RFPs, participating in calls and meetings with clients and positioning the team's capabilities with internal and external stakeholders. Other responsibilities would include updating client databases drafting market and portfolio commentary as needed, as well as coordinating conference and roadshow activities. Finally, you will need to work closely with colleagues from across the UBS AM organization, in particular Client Coverage, Product, and support functions such as legal, compliance and finance.

The UBS Credit Investments Group (CIG"), a business unit of the Asset Management Division of UBS, is an industry leader in managing non-investment grade credit portfolios, with approximately $60 billion in assets under management across direct lending, bank loans, high yield bonds and structured product portfolios. CIG is one of the largest leveraged credit managers in the US and Western Europe, with an accomplished full-service group of dedicated career credit professionals located in New York, London, Zurich and Tokyo.
Your expertise
• Ideally 2-3 years' experience in sales, marketing, product specialist, or capital markets role within an asset management or investment banking organization, preferably with experience in non-investment grade credit or fixed income.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills including ability to succinctly explain complex ideas
• Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel and Powerpoint
• Knowledge of investment products. Understanding of leveraged finance is a plus.
• Familiarity with financial tools and databases such as Bloomberg or eVestment is desired
• Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Ability to partner effectively with colleagues from across the organization to deliver market-leading solutions to our clients
• Outstanding organizational skills and ability to prioritize between various projects
• Ability to work independently and be self-motivated
• Fluent in English, German or other European languages a plus.
