Your team


As a Project Controller reporting to the Head of Regional Controlling CHFL, you are an important member of regional controlling team of Avaloq.

You will be acting as a financial business partner towards project Delivery in CHFL and take ownership of a client implementation project portfolio for CHFL.

Your mission

  • Act as a Financial Business Partner to the Project Management teams, providing Project Managers and other internal stakeholders with financial recommendations on project portfolios.
  • In a close collaboration with Project Managers, perform projects' planning, budgeting, forecasting, monthly closing, etc.
  • Participate in monthly project performance review meetings with

Project Manager:
discuss progress, review status, propose actions and report them to the senior management.

  • Ensure that project requests are correctly filled in and documented by the Project Managers.
  • Perform the data insertion and maintenance of the approved business cases /project requests in SAP.
  • In case of an escalation, report to the responsible Project Manager and Regional Head of Controlling, and take over other Performance Management tasks in related areas, when required.
  • Educate and implement strong "controllerthinking" mentality within the Project Management team.
  • Prepare monthly financial meeting materials for regional business areas and maintain historical financial data of project.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of work experience as a Business/Project Controller in outsourcing, IT or project consultancy business are a must criterion.
  • CA, ACCA or CPA Certification is a strong advantage.
  • Solid competences in accounting procedures.
  • Full proficiency in MS-Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • SAP user experience preferred (esp. FI, CO, MM).
  • Proven experience in a multinational matrix organisation with multiple stakeholders.
  • High motivation, drive, stressresistance and ability to work with tight deadlines.
  • Fluency in English, while Italian, German and French are considered as a plus.
  • Good interpersonal skills, empathy, passion for business contents and attention to details.
