WM Cross Border Manager

Description

We are dedicated to expanding our Wealth Management (WM) division, especially in key regions like Europe, the Middle East, Latin America, and Asia. Our focus is on offering a wide array of private banking solutions tailored to our clients' needs, with a strong emphasis on investment management and advisory services. Partnering with UBP, we cater to over 300 independent asset managers who trust our customized services and transparent fee structure.

Mission

Our goal is to provide comprehensive support and expertise in navigating cross-border regulatory frameworks within the Wealth Management function. We aim to keep the Bank's cross-border framework current, efficient, and impactful.

Challenges

Our challenges include ensuring that the Cross Border framework aligns with the Bank's risk strategy and actively participating in the Bank's Cross Border Activities Committee.

Main responsibilities

  • Ensure all country manuals and e-learnings are accessible for the regions covered by WM & AM activities.
  • Oversee timely completion of trainings by WM Front Office.
  • Coordinate training initiatives with the Learning & Development team.
  • Manage the relationship with the external Country Manuals provider.
  • Adapt the provider's manuals to align with the Bank's Risk Strategy.
  • Enhance the Cross Border control framework in line with overall control standards.
  • Develop and manage reporting for Cross Border control activities.
  • Execute control activities related to Cross Border framework.
  • Contribute to projects requiring Cross Border expertise.
  • Serve as the secretary of the Cross Border Activities Committee.
  • Undertake any other tasks essential to the main mission as directed by Management.

Education

  • Education: Master's Degree
  • IT Tools:
    • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Powerpoint, MS Power BI, SQL, MS Power Query, SAP Business

Experience

  • Years of experience: 3-7 (Intermediate)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Cross Border management within a Swiss banking environment, with expertise in Compliance and Regulatory aspects related to Wealth Management in Switzerland, particularly FinSA.
  • Experience in private banking is required.

  • English: Fluent
  • French: Fluent
