About the team you are joining


IATA Events provide organizations in the air transport industry with an essential arena for insights, discussion, networking and cooperation on industry-related issues.


You will join the IATA Events team as Coordinator Events and work in a fast pace, multi-disciplinary and diverse environment.


You will report to the Senior Manager Events Operations and will be supporting the administration and logistics of the annual global events, such as the World Cargo Symposium, the World Financial Symposium, the World Passenger Symposium, the IGHC, the Wings of Change, the IATA Safety & Operations Conference, the Energy Forums, the Legal Symposium, and more.

What your day would be like

  • The core responsibility of the role is to assist the team with diverse logistic and administrative support.
  • Build and update the webpages related to the conferences in scope.
  • Liaise regularly with our design team for visuals, logos, banners, promotional digital flyers.
  • Support on the building of the registration platform for each event.
  • Work on weekly event registration reports, statistics and surveys.
  • Support the creation of event registration forms.
  • Develop and update event agendas while liaising with colleagues across the organization
  • Support administrative tasks such as SAP requests, invoices, reports, visa letters etc.
We would love to hear from you if you meet the following criteria

  • You hold a university degree in a related field (marketing, event management, administration, finance) or possess 13 years of experience in the related field.
  • You are proficient with Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.), and you have experience with webpage design or creation.
  • You have a passion for innovating and improving processes.
  • You easily adapt to workload and work under pressure with proactivity, positive mindset and problemsolving attitude.
  • You have excellent English writing skills and good attention to detail.
