You'll have the opportunity to work in the Global Messaging and Screening Capability Unit within Group Technology in Zürich. As a Software Integrator, you'll play a vital role in integrating both internal and external applications, messaging infrastructure components, and market gateways solutions that are part of the GMS portfolio into the internal infrastructure. Throughout project phases, you'll collaborate closely with your project team, business analyst, and other interfacing teams. The software integration and quality assurance processes will involve working in tandem with dedicated development, testing, and change management teams.

Tasks
  • Proactively support business analysts and project managers in identifying the individuals and systems affected by both the functional and non-functional application requirements
  • Achieve the highest standards in operational stability and security when introducing new software bundles into production
  • Ensure timely application readiness by closely collaborating with our internal development and infrastructure teams, as well as change and project management teams
  • Coordinate software packaging and infrastructure requirements efficiently with our external vendors
  • Perform application-specific data gathering activities focused on infrastructure and security for audit and risk management purposes
Requirements
  • Knowledge of LINUX/UNIX operating systems, with familiarity in z/OS being a plus
  • Solid background in system architecture, failover mechanisms, and network design
  • Experience in Web and DB technologies, particularly WebSphere, Tomcat, Oracle, and DB2
  • Proficient scripting skills, especially in Shell, Perl, and Rexx
  • Familiarity with SWIFT fin message types and the ISO20022 standard equivalents
  • Understanding of SIC/euroSIC, SECOM, and FED/CHIPS message types
  • Solid experience in Instant Payments
  • Software development background, particularly in the financial realm (Java & J2EE) would be advantageous
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and synthesizing skills
  • Minimum of 5 years experience as a software engineer
