Sr. Manager Patient Engagement and Recruitment Lead

Description
This role involves developing and executing disease-specific patient engagement and recruitment strategies to enhance the site and patient experience in BMS clinical trials. You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to promote access to clinical trials across various indications, driving and expediting recruitment efforts for BMS.

Position Summary
- Develop and implement patient engagement and recruitment strategies at the indication/protocol level, utilizing tactics such as patient/advocacy group interaction and digital enhancements to streamline recruitment timelines.
- Take end-to-end responsibility for accelerating clinical trials through patient recruitment strategies.
- Implement selected tactics at the indication/protocol level, ensuring timely delivery of creative materials and digital plans in alignment with the overall strategy.
- Engage with stakeholders to provide insights on recruitment timelines, tactics, and site/patient experiences, keeping the team informed of progress.
- Drive innovation in engagement and recruitment by staying aware of industry trends and prioritizing patients and caregivers.
- Collaborate with enterprise partners to identify opportunities for enhancing engagement and recruitment tools.
- Contribute to developing digital health and innovation strategies tailored to specific therapeutic areas/indications.
Position Responsibilities
- Advocate for diverse recruitment strategies and contribute to diversity plans at the indication/protocol level.
- Build relationships with site and patient organizations to understand their trial experiences and improve recruitment efforts.
- Analyze data to support recruitment delivery and provide recommendations based on the effectiveness of tactics used.
- Manage engagement and recruitment budgets, aligning strategy with key objectives and leveraging input from the team.
- Support the continuous enhancement of BMS Study Connect as a communication platform for clinical trial awareness.
- Perform other assigned duties to facilitate Clinical Trial recruitment.
Degree Requirements
- BA or BS Degree in Legal, Life Science, Business Administration, or equivalent. Advanced degree is a plus.
Experience Requirements
- Sr. Manager with 3 to 5 years of clinical development experience in the pharma, biotech, or CRO industry.
Key Competency Requirements
- Strong knowledge of patient engagement and recruitment strategies, regulatory guidelines, drug development processes, and Pharma practices.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Sharepoint, and CTMS; experience with Veeva is preferred.
- Effective management of internal and external stakeholders, including cross-functional teams in a matrix environment.
- Demonstrated flexibility, adaptability, and time management skills in complex work settings.
- Ability to maintain high performance in a dynamic work environment.
Travel Required (nature and frequency)
- Occasional travel, up to 30%.
