The Modeling & Capabilities Lead is an experience analytics professional who will be responsible for the development and deployment of commercial performance tools and capabilities that support in-market Business Insights & Analytics teams.
The M&C lead will be the main stakeholder point of contact for ex-US standard forecast model development and the tools and capabilities that support consolidation of ex-US forecasts.
The M&C explores and pilots new technologies and tools in support of current business needs and in anticipate of future commercial trends.
To Enhance Local BI&A in-market teams, the Intercon lead will facilitate cross-market sharing, ensure consistent training and proactive planning for financial and budget cycles.
The M&C lead works collaboratively with regional IMIC leads in Major Markets and Intercon to align on process and regional needs and priorities.
The M&C lead is responsible for the formal feedback process to drive forecasting and analytic and research efficiencies in process and methodology.
The Modeling & Capabilities Lead, IMIC must have the ability to provide strategic direction and oversight, represent the team for to senior commercial leaders, and lead/participate on internal/external initiatives.
Key Responsibilities and Major Duties
- Main point IMIC of contact for BIA WW Commercial Performance & Forecasting Team
- Leads exUS standard model development, including project plans in alignment with financial cycles & communication to key stakeholders/end users and training
- Works collaboratively with Major Markets and Intercon IMIC Leads to understand regional deadlines, priorities and commercial performance needs
- Responsible for standard exUS forecast model enhancements and drives alignment with WW Commercial Performance & Forecasting Teams and WW Reporting and Metrics for methodology and KPI consistency
- Maintain forecast consolidation tools and develop platforms for forecast data submission, including identifying new improvements and insight generation frameworks
- Continuously explore newer technologies to enhance modelling capabilities and provide trainings for the local BI&A Support
- Pilot new tools and capabilities
- Explore new technology/infrastructure in collaboration with MM & IC BI&A leads/ Local BI&A leads & BMS Internal IT Organization.
- Drive a formal feedback process periodically to review suggestions/ recommendations to enhance user experience with forecasting models
- Support central forecast efforts where needed and provide handson support to inMarket BI&A team
- Maintain Close collaboration with IMIC Major Market & Intercon Leads
- BIA ES&P Regional Commercial Strategy and Performance Leaders (Major Markets & Intercon)

Requirements:
- Degree/Certification/ Licensure
- BA/BS required
- MBA or Masters in a quantitative major or concentration preferred
- Ability to synthesize complex information & successfully communicate simply to the senior TA leaders leading to smart & datadriven decision makin
- Ability to translate various requests and priorities into actionable efforts that efficiently support the highest business needs
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to frame issues and present to business stakeholders
- Strong project management skills and ability to manage consultant resources
- Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry and healthcare marketplace dynamics preferred
- Familiarity with analytics/data tools such as, SAS, Access, Spotfire, Tableau,, etc. strongly recommended.
- Experience in leading and managing crossfunctional projects
- Management experience preferred or applicable work experience demonstrating the ability to manage and mentor people, excellent influencing, negotiation and conflict resolution skills
