Purchasing & International Fashion Trade Manager - Tasoni (100% Position)

Tasoni is currently seeking a motivated and skilled Purchasing & Fashion Trade Manager to oversee our global purchasing operations. This crucial role plays a central part in our organization, handling all purchasing activities to support our operations efficiently and cost-effectively. The ideal candidate will lead the development of business relationships at an international level for reseller purposes and play a pivotal role in shaping our procurement strategies and supplier interactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement purchasing strategies that align with seasonal, brand, and product category requirements.
  • Manage daily purchasing operations, work closely with back-office and store teams, and engage in supplier negotiations.
  • Ensure product quality meets our high standards, collaborate with brands on quality issues, and address customer feedback.
  • Oversee fashion trade activities globally, establish and supervise reseller relationships and initiatives.
  • Analyze sales trends, forecast future industry movements, and educate teams on new products and market insights.

Location:

  • Your main workplace will be our offices and stores in Zurich and Andermatt, with potential for additional locations.

Requirements

Who We're Seeking:

  • A bachelor's degree in business, fashion trade, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in a purchasing role within the luxury retail sector, with a solid understanding of the fashion industry.
  • Fluency in Mandarin and English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel to Europe and Asia on short notice.
  • Flexible work schedule and availability to support the Andermatt store on Sundays.
  • Strong negotiation, leadership, and analytical skills, with a proactive approach to international business growth.
