Responsibilities:

  • Definition and implementation of the procurement strategy with corresponding metrics
  • Establishment and maintenance of local and international suppliers
  • Definition, negotiation and conclusion of framework agreements with suppliers
  • Procurement of production material, production equipment and services
  • Optimization of operational procurement processes and further development of systems
  • Recognition and realization of continuous cost reductions under consideration of the procurement strategy
  • Process monitoring based on statistical key figures and initiation of necessary measures
  • Structured supplier support and maintenance in daytoday business
  • Preparation and communication of the annual supplier evaluation
  • Conducting purchasing negotiations and concluding framework agreements
  • Demandoriented and inventoryoptimized material planning and procurement, including master data maintenance
  • Implementation of supplier audits
Your background

  • Basic technical training in industry and corresponding higher education in purchasing/supply chain and/or purchasing manager
  • Several years of proven management experience in a purchasing organization in the areas of disposition / planning / operative procurement and supplier management as well as in procurement processes
  • SAP knowledge
  • Networked thinking and acting, analytical skills
  • Experienced IT knowledge
  • Negotiation skills, assertiveness and ability to work under pressure
  • Team player and outstanding communication skills
  • Fluent in German and English
