Job Description

Programming and Configuration:

  • Develop and customize software solutions within the LIMS framework to address unique global organizational requirements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to grasp needs and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Implement upgrades and enhancements to optimize LIMS functionality and performance.
  • Conduct comprehensive testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of configurations and features.

Integration and System Support:

  • Efficiently integrate LIMS with existing laboratory systems and workflows at various sites to ensure seamless operations across the organization.
  • Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting for LIMS-related issues.
  • Ensure data integrity and system reliability through regular maintenance and monitoring.
  • Lead technical conversations, offer expertise, and provide suggestions for improvements and optimizations.
  • Protect and define the Global CORE template.

Documentation and Compliance:

  • Maintain precise documentation of LIMS configurations, customizations, and processes.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory standards like FDA and ISO regulations.
  • Participate in validation exercises to confirm LIMS compliance with regulatory and quality norms.

Team and Environment:

  • As a senior member of our global team, you will assist in building and leading a talented group of LIMS professionals.
  • Play a crucial role in providing guidance, mentorship, and growth opportunities for the LIMS team members. Together, we aim to foster a collaborative and innovative environment promoting everyone's success.
  • Keep up to date with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in LIMS solutions.
  • Challenge conventional methods and propose standardized and efficient solutions.


Requirements
  • Completion of Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or relevant experience in a similar capacity.
  • Proficiency in programming languages like LIMS Basic or other relevant languages is advantageous
  • Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and computer system validation (CSV).
  • Prior experience in LIMS development and configuration.
  • Hands-on experience with relational databases.
  • Understanding of laboratory processes, data management, and regulatory obligations.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and keen attention to detail, with the capability to analyze requirements and offer solutions.
  • Effective communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of timely and budget-compliant delivery of global LIMS or IT projects.
