The positions we offer are best suited to recent graduates of a course of study, preferably at master's level, and with at least one previous professional experience.

Conditions and benefits of the Early Careers Programme- Full-time onsite employment contract of 6 months with the World Economic Forum Geneva office- We will accommodate start dates between September 1st to October 15th 2023- Monthly gross compensation of CHF 4'400.

Forum Metaverse - Global Collaboration Village


The Global Collaboration Village team is pioneering the first global purpose-driven metaverse platform to enhance more sustained public-private cooperation and spur action to drive impact at scale.

The Village will expand the impact of the work of the Forum and its partners by harnessing this new technology's capabilities to improve the state of the world.

Reason for hiring:

  • Data: Assisting with session data management (session creation, participant invitation and registration) and logístical arrangements; developing invitation pipelines and registration processes for GCV sessions; ensuring the wellfunctioning of registration systems for sessions when technological solutions are possible, and undertaking manual registration, maintaining relevant records and completing necessary data entry when a manual approach must be pursued; maintaining records of session participation data; analysing session participation data
  • Logistics:
Managing logistics for internal and external staff supporting the GCV (staff registration, agenda building and dissemination, for example); contributing to session descriptions and publicization; ensuring VR equipment is available at the event location and reaches remote participants in advance of planned sessions; support remote participant onboarding to the GCV

  • Processes:
Serving as rapporteur and action-item distributor in the weekly GCV Events core team meetings and event-specific meetings

  • Session delivery:

Contributing to the delivery of sessions at Forum events and at Forum HQ (as requested) as a runner (assistant helping participants in and out of VR) or tech lead (running the overall platform during the experience), and contributing to the development and delivery of any pre-event trainings for session delivery teams.


Preferred qualifications and experience:

  • Session production experience (e

g for a panel discussion:
conceptualization from theme to speakers to flow to audience curation)- A personal and/or professional interest in new technologies; VR/AR a plus- Excellent written English

Desired skills:

  • Project management skills, including managing complex assignments and balancing competing priorities
  • Organization, planning and coordination
  • Communications management, ensuring that event and process milestones across the design and delivery lifecycle are documented consistently and regularly shared with GCV core project partners
