Conditions and benefits of the Early Careers Programme- Full-time onsite employment contract of 6 months with the World Economic Forum Geneva office- We are flexible to accommodate start dates between March 1st to May 15th 2023- Monthly gross compensation of CHF 4'400 (salary: CHF 4'050.

Role
  • ECP
- Global Plastic Action Partnership- Support the Strategic Communications Lead in mapping, drafting and implementing the GPAP communications strategy.- Administrative support ahead of milestone moments, acting as a focal point with external partners for the timely delivery of products and events.- Maintain up to date content on public channels, including website and community newsletter.- Manage content planning, coordination and dissemination on priorities and events.- Support the delivery of speaking opportunities and events for GPAP team members. Work with global plastic treaty lead to communicate and coordinate with stakeholders for GPAP's effective delivery across negotiations.- Prepare briefs and talking points on treaty related milestones.- Work with treaty lead to develop products and tools to share more widely with strategic partners- Monitor and summarise core global plastics treaty outcomes and outputs, create relevant visual content and update wider team regularly.

Preferred requirements and experience:

  • Previous experience or competencies in communications, coordination and product/tool creation
  • Excellent organizational skills, selfstarter, with strong attention to detail and willingness to take on the necessary administrative tasks
  • Agile and adaptative mindset to shifting priorities and needs
  • Ability to be able to break down complex documents and initiatives into accessible assets and content for further dissemination.
  • Collaborative attitude, able to work independently or in teams as per need
  • Flexible, committed and mature to enjoy working in a multicultural, fastpaced environment, able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, fluency in spoken and written English; additional languages would be an asset
