As part of this programme in Multi Asset & Quantitative Investment, you will not only develop the technical and interpersonal skills needed in your future career at Pictet but also be given the opportunity to build a network of peers within the company.
  • The Quest team is made up of investment professionals responsible for managing a range of longonly & longshort equity strategies and several multiasset products & solutions. The team have experience in infrastructure development, feature engineering, model building, artificial intelligence, risk management, portfolio implementation and strategy development so they can deliver effectively for their clients.
  • We offer you a permanent position starting with a unique 18month programme during which you will rotate through different teams and location.
  • At the end of the programme, you will be ready to take full ownership of a position on the Quest team as a junior client portfolio manager. Your role will be to support senior members of the team to grow the business, service clients and manage portfolios.
  • As the chosen Graduate you will show curiosity, openness and humility. Moreover, your pragmatic mindset will enable you to blend in seamlessly in a cognitively diverse environment.
  • Your role:
  • Update product marketing & reporting materials, working with content providers around the firm to streamline regular process.
  • Assist in the production of bespoke client review materials.
  • Work with the Quest team, sales teams, back and middle offices to respond promptly to requests for data and/or presentation materials.
  • Developing basic content that can illustrate the investment process and results in a client, impactful way to internal and external clients.
  • Represent the team, it's products and processes to internal clients.
  • Helping to keep track of the competition offering and performing comparative analyses.
  • Assist portfolio managers in developing analytics and tools that can automate repeatable daily tasks.
  • Undertake regular adhoc data fetching, cleaning and analysis tasks that support team's processes.

Your profile:

  • Undergraduate degreelevel education a minimum requirement.
  • Passionate about financial markets, geopolitical events and investing.
  • Highly selfmotivated, organised and independent, able to multitask and work at the last minute under pressure.
  • Ability to grasp complicated or abstract concepts and explain them clearly and succinctly.
  • Experience in coding (Python, SQL).
  • Experience with Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Good communications skills, and a high level of spoken and written English (native or equivalent). A fluency in a second language (French, German, Spanish, Japanese) a plus.
  • Must be resident in Switzerland or willing to relocate.
