Senior Sales Manager Diagnostic EMEA

Are you an experienced sales professional with a talent for nurturing strong connections and boosting business growth in the diagnostics field, particularly in coagulation? We are searching for a Senior Sales Manager to join our team in Aesch/Basel Land and lead our efforts throughout EMEA. In this crucial role, you will drive strategic sales initiatives, foster essential partnerships, and ensure exceptional customer satisfaction across EMEA markets.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Account Management: Develop and implement strategic account plans to enhance sales growth and maximize market share with a focus on coagulation diagnostics.
  • Customer Engagement: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, acting as their trusted advisor and meeting their needs with customized solutions.
  • Market Analysis: Stay updated on market trends, competitive dynamics, and regulatory changes in the diagnostics sector, offering insights for strategic decision-making.
  • New Business Development: Discover and pursue new business prospects within the EMEA region, utilizing your industry knowledge and network to broaden our customer base.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams such as marketing, product development, and customer support to provide exceptional value to customers and enhance overall business performance.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Educational Background: Hold a university degree in biochemistry, chemical engineering, or biology.
  • Industry Experience: Minimum of 5 years in sales or business development within the in-vitro diagnostics sector, with a strong focus on coagulation diagnostics preferred.
  • Market Knowledge: Deep understanding of the EMEA diagnostics market, including major players, market trends, and regulatory mandates.
  • Relationship Building: Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with key accounts, showcasing strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Results Orientation: Results-driven mentality with a concentration on achieving and surpassing sales targets, along with robust analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Team Player: Collaborative approach with the capability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and contribute to a positive team environment.
  • Languages: Fluency in English is essential, and proficiency in German and other EMEA languages is beneficial.
