From engaging educational programmes to its signature digital project the Homo Faber Guide and international exhibition the Homo Faber Event, the Foundation is fostering a cultural movement centered on master artisans.

Main responsibilities

Homo Faber Guide Collection of visual assets (40%)

  • Collect and centralise visual assets sent from the different partners (artisans, free lances) and ensure all relevant information is received ;
  • Ensure Photo & video are cleared in terms of IP rights ;
  • Consolidate and followup workflow on Salesforce ;
  • Brief partners on Image requirements procedures, IP rights and guidelines (in accordance with the Image and Content Department and Homo Faber Guide Content Editor and Coordinator) ;
  • Communicate with stakeholders (ex: Artisans, free lances, etc.) to follow up on images needs ;
  • Update the Homo Faber Guide guidelines ;
  • When necessary, organize photoshooting worldwide: find partners, establish the contract and ensure it is respected.

Selection of images for Homo Faber Guide (40%)

  • Select pictures for the creation of stakeholders profile page and followup on validation process ;
  • Optimise the pictures stockage on drives ;
  • Ensure the pictures are named in an appropriate way (with copyrights and no special characters) ;
  • Prepare selection of picture for updates on website sections (ex. Home page, Cities, Countries, itineraries).

Image Library Database Management (20%)

  • Plan and upload all the photo and video assets on the image library with the appropriate metadata (i.e. captions, criteria, Copyrights and rights) according to the defined classification ;
  • Be in charge of the maintenance of the Image Library and ensure the quality of the database including technical improvements ;
  • Ensure the classification meets the need of internal stakeholders (Communication Department and Image and Content Department).

Required Skills:

  • 3 year of experience in digital visual asset management and selection ;
  • Knowledge in art and design and interest in the métiers d'art ;
  • Familiar with digital asset management systems ;
  • Computer proficiency including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Photoshop ;
  • Fluent in English and/or in French, Italian is an asset ;
  • Rigorous, wellorganised, precise and detailoriented ;
  • Team Player.
