Working closely with the shore-side Inventory Management Team, the Travelling Fleet Supervisor - Inventory, ensures the correct execution of the onboard supply chain standard procedures focusing on the F&B, Hotel, Promotional and Uniform stock lifecycle, which has to be in line with company guidelines.


  • At least 5 years' experience in large cruise ship management positions such as Inventory Officer, Supply Chain Manager, F&B Director, Logistics Manager;
  • Fluent knowledge of the Stock management system as : MMS, Fidelio, Otalio, Crunchtime, Jira, Infoship, Oracle report analysis, Qlik;
  • Fluent English is compulsory. Any other European languages is an advantage;
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or similar degree or similar work experience;
  • Extensive knowledge of Food Safety standards;Experience in Inventory Management, Supply Chain Management, Warehouse management;
  • Proficient level of experience in MS Excel and PowerPoint;Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Strong leadership and influencing skills;Experience in large operation crew scheduling dynamics;Customer service driven;
  • Ability to plan, organize and complete work in accordance with time deadlines;
  • Strong business acumen with ability to create and enhance revenue opportunities;
  • Ability to travel extensively.
  • Monitor and report the correct execution of key operational processes of the Inventory Officer, Stores and Provision dept. such as training, ordering processes, receiving, internal movements, inventories, ship stock management, system maintenance;
  • Deal with the shoreside management team reporting achieved results, providing appropriate analysis, and promptly addressing issues;
  • Support the onboard team actively assesses the operations, addresses corrective actions, identifies training needs, and evaluates managers and supervisors' performance;
  • Support the onboard Inventory Officer during the daily operations for the major issues;
  • Audit the Provision and Stores performances trough the internal checklists revising the due diligence of the stock values, consumption and reporting;
  • Audit the department reports ad record correctness;Audit the stock values trough spotchecks;
  • Conduct formal and informal training sessions with all Stores & Provision team in matter of Standard Procedures;
  • Evaluate the Store and Provision Supervisors and team performances, attitude and behavior ensuring action plan when required or if indicated by the shoreside;
  • Implement, review and supervise the optimal communication flow, internal department and interdepartmental;
  • Monitor equipment par levels, transpallet certificates, verifies endowments with the onboard management and suggests revision when required;
  • Ensure that food is handled and served in compliance with U.S.P.H, Anvisa and Shipsan standards in accordance with Ship's deployment;
  • Prepare and submit an end of season report to be shared with the Corporate office.
