Mandarin Oriental Savoy, Zurich is located in the heart of the old town, within the main business centre, close to the city's leisure attractions and a short walk from the shores of Lake Zurich. Set to open end of 2023, Mandarin Oriental Savoy, Zurich will feature 80 guestrooms and suites and three dining outlets, comprising an all-day dining venue, a speciality restaurant, and a lobby lounge. The property is ideally placed for meetings and gatherings, and the renovation will enhance conference and event facilities, including a grand historic ballroom.

As Reservation Agent, you will be responsible for the following **duties**:

- Handling all reservation requests as well as the group requests with our hotel Property Management system
- Receiving and answering the incoming calls from external and internal
- Processing of VIP and regular guest bookings while considering special wishes and preferences
- Preparing offers for group and individual bookings complying with the expiry and cancellation deadlines
- Checking, processing and filing of incoming reservation correspondence
- Communicating and cooperating efficiently with the Front Office & Sales & Marketing Department

As Reservation Agent, we **expect** from you:

- A completed apprenticeship as a hotel specialist, hotel clerk or travel agent. Or experience in the reservations department in a similar position
- In-depth computer skills, ideally HMS, Infor and Banqueting Delphi
- A friendly, courteous, confident appearance on the phone and in direct contact with the guests
- A strong sales
- and turnover-oriented working style as well as negotiation skills
- Organization skills, excellent manners and a well-groomed appearance
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral
- German fluency is a must for this position as well as a business level of English. Other foreign languages are an advantage

Das Mandarin Oriental Savoy, Zürich befindet sich im Herzen der Altstadt, innerhalb des Hauptgeschäftszentrums, in der Nähe der Freizeitattraktionen der Stadt und nur einen kurzen Spaziergang vom Ufer des Zürichsees entfernt. Das Mandarin Oriental Savoy, Zürich wird Ende 2023 eröffnet und verfügt über 80 Gästezimmer und Suiten sowie drei gastronomische Einrichtungen, darunter ein ganztägig geöffnetes Restaurant, ein Spezialitätenrestaurant und eine Lobby Lounge. Das Hotel ist ein idealer Ort für Meetings und Versammlungen, und die Renovierung wird die Konferenz
- und Veranstaltungseinrichtungen verbessern, einschließlich eines großen historischen Ballsaals.

Als Reservations Agent:in werden Sie verantwortlich für folgende** Aufgaben **sein:

- Fachgerechte Annahmen und Bearbeitung von Reservierungsanfragen sowie die Bearbeitung von Gruppenanfragen mit unserer Hotelsoftware
- Annahme der eingehenden internen und externen Anrufe
- Bearbeitung von VIP- und Stammgastbuchungen unter Berücksichtigung besonderer Wünsche und Präferenzen
- Erstellung von Angeboten für Gruppen
- und Individualbuchungen und die Kontrolle unter Einhaltung der Verfalls
- und Stornofristen
- Kontrolle, Bearbeitung und Ablage der eingehenden Reservierungskorrespondenz
- Effiziente Kommunikation und Kooperation mit den Abteilungen Front Office und Sales & Marketing

Als Reservations Agent:in **erwarten **wir von Ihnen**:

- Eine abgeschlossene Ausbildung als Hotelfachmann/-frau, Hotelkaufmann/-frau oder Reiseverkehrskaufmann/-frau. Erfahrung in der Reservierungsabteilung in einer ähnlichen Position
- Fundierte EDV-Kenntnisse, idealerweise HMS
- Freundliches, zuvorkommendes, sicheres Auftreten am Telefon und im Direktkontakt mit den Gästen
- Ausgeprägter verkaufs
- und umsatzorientierter Arbeitsstil sowie Verhandlungsgeschick
- Organisationstalent, exzellente Umgangsformen und ein gepflegtes Äusseres
- Kommunikationsstärke, sowohl schriftlich als auch mündlich
- Sehr gute Deutsch
- und Englischkenntnisse, weitere Fremdsprachen von Vorteil
