To further build and strengthen our team, we are now looking for a MANAGER SUPPLY CHAIN & LOGISTICS. In this position, you are responsible for the entire flow of products in our global supply chain.Tasks
Warehousing
- Work together with 3PL partners to make sure smooth daily operations on site, drive key processes clarification and standardization
- Overall management of daily operational tasks (i.e. inbound, outbound, management of stocks in all warehouse locations); check, review and approve all invoices related to logistics and operations
- Define and monitor KPIs (financial/nonfinancial) to ensure operation according to SOPs; analyze for potential opportunities (e.g. warehouse space utilization, inventory levels) and take action to reap those opportunities
- Manage and report warehouse space utilization to ensure inventory levels are kept at efficient operating levels
- Manage inbound and outbound logistics activities, including transportation, and distribution
- Ensure fulfilment (D2C / B2B) is in time and compliant with tax, customs and legal requirements
- Maintain records of all shipping activities, documenting procedures, guidelines, and changes in procedures for reference purposes
- Manage and keep track of all logistics issues and liaise directly with our 3PL partners
- Monitor KPIs (financial/nonfinancial) to ensure operation according to SOPs
- Find ways to constantly improve processes and lower cost
- Sourcing and supplier relationship management of new and existing suppliers.
- Manage supply chain endtoend, and ensure adequate inventory levels at all steps in the production, from materials to finished goods
- Managing all bulk fabric, bulk lot approval, testing and ensuring on time delivery of fabrics and trims.
- Establish agreements with suppliers to improve profitability
- Cost management and commercial negotiations
- Ensure processes meet legal requirements and standards
- Continuously monitor and analyze supply chain performance metrics to identify improvement opportunities and costsaving initiatives
Systems:
- Key user for the product flows and warehousing in BC36
- Lead improvements and new requirements in the BC365 warehousing and logistics environment and coordinate with other key users
- Assess and propose (crossfunctional) system enhancements and drive process improvement; actively participate in and /or drive system projects where needed
Requirements:
- A degree in business, supply chain, logistics or functional training in logistics/warehouse management
- At least 46 years relevant operations experience, relevant. ideally within a Startup
- / FMCG business with a global operating model and 3PL partnership model
- Flair for IT and experience with MS BC 365, logistics systems and EDI
- Experience in working with or within a 3PL organization
- You are both a planner and a doer. While you manage your time and energy based on a plan, you know how to be flexible and make things happen when opportunities call for it.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Fluency in German and English required.
