On the other hand, we have an outstanding COO operation that has a tremendous record of accomplishment, having seamlessly delivered numerous major integrations over the past decade; COO activities are instrumental to our current and future success, in terms of shaping, designing, and delivering the Group's strategic technology transformation.

Going forward, we seek to reinforce our position as a pre-eminent partner for Intermediaries in Switzerland, Asia, and selected core markets, making us a provider of excellent and personal client service, value-added solutions and capabilities, and highly efficient operational support.


YOUR CHALLENGE:

  • Support the evolvement of the Intermediaries Strategic Sales Framework to further establish Julius Baer as the partner of choice for Intermediaries around the globe
  • Develop sales and offering related concepts to facilitate the decisionmaking process for (senior) management; this includes project lead / support where needed
  • Conceptualize, implement, run, and monitor sales campaigns incorporating geographical and target client requirements ("next best action")
  • Create sales content dedicated to Intermediaries as well as internal stakeholders that is at the forefront of the industry; this includes direct and indirect distribution strategies
  • Develop and maintain data driven analytical reports to identify upselling potential based on target client definition, trading behaviour and local situations
  • Evolve the Intermediaries specific advisory & consulting approach; create and implement new consulting services when required
  • Develop and implement adequate sales training programs in close collaboration with training and front units to establish one global sales standard
  • Participation in adhoc projects as required within the Intermediaries Strategy & Solutions area as well as the wider COO & Intermediaries division

YOUR PROFILE:

  • Aboveaverage university degree (preferably master's), ideally with a specialization in business, economics, or finance
  • 58 years of professional experience in a similar role in the financial or (strategy) consulting industry
  • Deep knowledge of the private banking industry in general and the Intermediaries industry in particular; this includes a good understanding of banking products and services
  • Experience in quantitative / strategic sales management (steering and performance tracking of sales organizations); analytical way of thinking based on data is mandatory
  • Ability to design and implement concepts related to target client offering, coverage models, pricing, promotion (sales), and training
  • Strong and efficient project management skills (incl. agile methodologies) with the ability to manage a number of different projects and deliver them all on time
  • Shows excellent analyticalconceptual skills, strong thought leadership and storylining capabilities, structured and resultsdriven way of working, and ability to get things done
  • Contributes with positive personality drive and energy to generate creative solutions for complex problems
  • Excels at presenting and has proficiency in English (both written and oral), strong German language skills are a plus
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at any seniority level
  • Excellent team player that is easy to collaborate with and shows a "can do" attitude
