YOUR ROLE

As a Backend Software Developer, you will be responsible for advising clients on technology, leading engineers, and taking charge of specific aspects.

  • Providing technology guidance to clients during project initiation and collaborating with the engineering team to deliver solutions;
  • Owning a value stream within Blue Harvest, fostering company growth and supporting engineers;
  • Taking the lead in mentoring a team of skilled engineers, setting an example through ownership, proactiveness, and teamwork;
  • Being part of a culture that upholds high engineering and emotional intelligence standards, empowering individuals to define their development paths and capitalize on growth opportunities.
YOUR PROFILE
  • A extensive background in Backend Software development using Java (e.g., with Spring Boot or Quarkus) or .Net Core. Previous experience in Financial Services is advantageous;
  • Proficiency in guiding and empowering team members, along with coaching and ensuring successful project delivery across engineering teams;
  • Knowledge of design patterns and best practices in software development;
  • Experience working with cloud platforms, containers, Kafka (or any other MQ platform);
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate ideas effectively in both English and French.
