YOUR ROLE

As a Backend Software Developer, you will be involved in guiding clients on technology and providing solutions, mentoring engineers, and taking responsibility for a specific value stream within Blue Harvest to drive company growth.

  • Guiding clients on technology and delivering solutions with the engineering team during sprint zero;
  • Owning a value stream within Blue Harvest to foster engineers' development and company growth;
  • Leading, mentoring, and motivating a team of experienced engineers with a focus on taking ownership, proactiveness, and collaboration;
  • Participating in a culture that upholds high engineering and emotional intelligence standards, offering self-determined development paths to support growth opportunities.

YOUR PROFILE

  • Several years of Backend Software development experience with Java (e.g. Spring Boot or Quarkus) or .Net Core, with a preference for experience in Financial Services;
  • Proficiency in leading and supporting teams, coaching, and facilitating delivery across engineering teams;
  • Knowledge of design patterns and software development best practices;
  • Experience working with cloud platforms, containers, Kafka, or any other MQ platform;
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate ideas in English and French.
