To further build and strengthen our executive team, we are now looking for a CFO/COO.

In this position you are a conceptual AND hands-on personality who leads, and continuously optimizes our finance and operations functions.

Tasks

Controlling & reporting:

  • Support the Executive team in strategy and midterm planning
  • Prepare monthly management reports incl. profitability analysis and operational analysis
  • Analyze and interpret data in order to appraise and improve operating results in terms of profitability, performance against budget/prior year, and other matters bearing on the fiscal health and operating effectiveness of the organization
  • Own the budgeting and forecasting cycle; aligned with demand/supply planning
  • Own the long term financial model
  • Define an internal control framework (ICS) to ensure the accuracy of financial information
  • Ensure that all established policies, rules, regulations and agreements are followed
  • Implement procedures, work processes and systems according to the risk management policy (i.e. ICS)

Accounting:

  • Provide direction, oversight and control to external accounting firm and other service providers in all finance related matters
  • Control all postings of the commercial transactions
  • Maintain the accounting policy to ensure continuous compliance with the statutory reporting requirements
  • Maintain and improve the accounting posting logic for commercial transactions, payroll and any other business matters
  • Prepare and manage the audit process

Treasury:

  • Manage the company's cash flows and maintain an updated cash situation at all times
  • Monitor financial commitments of the business through a cash flow forecast
  • Manage the liquidity per currency
  • Lead the relationship with the banks and payment providers
  • Tax:
  • Manage the income tax framework
  • Manage the indirect (VAT / sales tax) framework
Warehousing & Logistics

  • Together with the executive team, define/refine Dagsmejan ́s strategy and operating model for warehousing and logistics
  • 3PL & KEP key account management provide direction, oversight and control to 3PL & KEP partners in all warehousing & logistics matters
  • Lead quarterly business review meetings with 3PL partner and drive continuous improvement and support in strategic projects; find ways to constantly improve processes, procedures and efficiencies

Systems & Infrastructure:

  • Overall lead for ERP (BC365); key account manager for ERP and Systems service providers
  • Lead improvements and new requirements in the BC365 with other key users
  • Assess and propose (crossfunctional) system enhancements and drive process improvement; actively participate in and /or drive system projects where needed
  • Go to person for all infrastructure service providers (i.e. IT infrastructure incl. HW, SW, networks, communications, office infrastructure)

HR:

  • Support executive team in HR policy setting and employer branding activities
  • Key account manager for HR service provider
  • Facilitate key HR processes, from recruitment to onboarding, development and offboarding in collaboration with external service provider

Requirements:

  • Startup mentality, can work on strategic as well as operational level in a broad range of topics
  • University degree with a spike in finance or business administration
  • 68 years' relevant work experience, ideally within a Startup
- / E-Commerce
- / FMCG business with a global operating model

  • Experience with MS BC365 or MS Dynamics 365 or SAP
  • Excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail and problem solving skills
  • Hands on, positive, flexible, professional and personable attitude
  • Works well in a fastpaced, global and constantly evolving environment
  • Fluent in English and German
  • Tech savvy, expert in MS 365 tools
  • An interest in health and wellbeing
  • Good sense of humor and fun to work with
