Your main tasks and responsibilities:
Process design of equipment and complete plants for separation and purification technology with support from Process Engineering departmentEngage with clients in the ECA (Europe, Africa and Caspian) region to understand their unique needs and challenges and propose sustainable solutions that optimize resource utilization, reduce waste, and minimize environmental impactLead the tendering process, cost calculations, carefully assessing project requirements and preparation of competitive bidsCustomer contact and customer visitsNegotiate contracts, terms, and pricing to achieve win-win outcomesPreparation of marketing material and training material for Front salesStay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies by participating in conferences and exhibitions, and promote Sulzer To succeed in this role, you will need: Master's degree in Chemical / Process Engineering
Process Engineering:
Solid understanding in process design of separation and purification systems (e.g. distillation, evaporation, extraction, absorption)Relevant experience in the chemical and/or specialty chemicals and/or bio-based industry as a process engineer, applications, or technical sales engineerExperience with cost calculations is a plus but not a mustExperience with preparing tenders is a plus but not a mustMicrosoft Office, proficiency in tools such as ProII, Chemcad, Aspen Plus or HYSYS, or similar process simulation software Fluent English.
German, French or other languages is a great benefitCollaborative spiritStrong organizational skillsStrong communication and presentation skills to engage with clients, understand their needs, and articulate technical solutionsAnalytical mindset to assess process designs criticallyAbility to bridge technical aspects with business goalsPassion for driving positive environmental impact through innovative solutionsWhat we offer you:
