Your responsibilities:

  • Perform in vitro and in vivo experiments for the identification, development and preclinical evaluation of T cell gene engineering approaches and combinatorial strategies for cancer immunotherapy.
  • Prepare and analyse biological samples.
  • Assist in the organization, preparation and ordering of all reagents and mice required for ongoing and upcoming experiments.
  • Record and report raw data, data analysis and details of applied experimental protocols.
  • Assist in the development of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and ensure that experimental work in mice complies with the guidelines established for the laboratory.

Your qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Life or Biological Sciences.
  • Master's University Degree in Biological Sciences or equivalent (desirable), ideally in Cancer Immunology.
  • Experience in molecular biology, cell culture and functional characterization of primary immune cells and cell lines.
  • Substantial experience with mouse models of cancer, ideally in the field of cancer immunotherapy.
  • LTK1 certificate (or equivalent) for working with murine models.
  • Expected competences: motivation, teamwork, communication and organizational skills, troubleshooting skills, ability to accurately follow procedures, capacity to take initiatives when necessary, flexibility.
  • Knowledge of basic softwares such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Prism.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English. Ability to communicate effectively in spoken French.
