Who we are?_**
_What will you do?_
The Director of Partnership is an exciting new position for an experienced, hands-on, relationship manager whose core mission is:

  • Network to raise the profile of SITA and make SITA Leadership more visible
  • Understanding IATA/ACI, gaining insights on priorities and establishing the right relationship with their key decision makers which will enable SITA to have a seat at the table
  • Influence and shape the future of ATI and find collaboration opportunities
  • Brand positioning and thought leadership with active participation with SITA at key industry events
  • The Partner Director is a key role to steer the short to the medium direction of SITA partnering with key industry associations starting with IATA and ACI to meet our strategic goals.


This is a key role where the individual supports the VP Strategy and Innovation and Executive Sponsors in developing, enhancing, and managing the partnership relationship with IATA and ACI.

The role also includes the responsibility of driving governance, cultivating the relationship with these association partners, and developing clear KPIs to measure the success of the business value of the partnerships.


_The key responsibilities of the individual will include:_

  • Development of the key objectives and partnership strategy of the industry associations IATA and ACI working closely with global sponsors
  • HEAD of AIRPORTS & HEAD of SITA for AIRCRAFT
  • Ongoing management and monitoring of the execution of the objectives.
  • Build relationships as required with other key industry bodies for SITA".
  • Leadership and management of the Partnership Strategy working with other parts of SITA to ensure its success; this includes
  • Programmed manage and drive the activities internally of agreed key objectives whilst developing and maintaining a shared and consistent understanding and view of roadmaps,
  • Provide internal visibility of the scope and status of the engagement; Own and manage the relationships to ensure regular and consistent communication on key partner activities and program progress and escalations
  • Ensure timely update/feedback of relevant information across SITA.
  • Clear KPIs; Identify key requirements with crossdivisional and enterprise teams and external vendors.
  • Developing multiple touchpoints in the organization at different levels
  • Understand and action when program may need to adapt to changing circumstances or key stakeholder alignment to ensure continued alignment to strategic outcome.
  • Ensure all program elements are structured for execution and realization of program outcomes.
  • Ownership of the SITA collaboration plan for IATA &ACI (2023 and beyond);
  • Organize, promote and ensure contributions and coordination across SITA global leaderships, GEO/Bus, regional leads based on clear measurable business value
  • Management of industry partners and ensuring alignment with other parts of the SITA business.
  • This includes the identification and targeting of potential opportunities
  • Align required resources/budget, consider lobbying
  • Enable and support CxO engagement with SITA customers in conjunction/alignment with GEO Presidents
  • Member of the SITA GROWTH & ENABLEMENT Leadership Team, including providing support as required across the business.
  • Build trusted partner relationships aligned to the Clear Company ethos of supporting clients to achieve long term authentic change Check & Validate cost of individual components.
  • Validate the quality of data provided by customer to successfully initiate quotation proposal process.
  • Prepare list of orderable components (Bill of Material).
  • Transform data from Low Level Design into customer order within SITA ordering tools.
  • Perform Quote refresh for cost optimization and Control proactively validity of quotes.
  • Define and ensure that service acceptance tests are carried out successfully.
  • Ensure data quality and Integrity.

Who you are_**- Professional Competency and Experience:_

  • The individual should ideally have the following professional competency and experience:
  • Extensive experience in a related role; with a strong understanding of SITA organization and dynamics
  • Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the Air Transport Industry
  • Experience in relationship management essential; an ability to build, manage and sustain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to build compromise and consensus, and to operate in multipronged engagements where elements of ambiguity are the norm
  • Strong senior experience in global programs and projects, demonstrating continuity, delivery and dealing with multiple points of view while synthesizing different data points to arrive at an optimal solution
