Position:


Are you a seasoned private banking specialist in business risk, compliance or Crossborder management? If you are in a senior role today and looking to step up to a team head position and are comfortable with business development and strong on the regulatory side, this could be just the job The chance to bring your expertise and really shape this role and lead a team, as part of a key and integral part of the business.

As Head of the Crossborder Competence Center for this Bank, you will lead and develop the Bank's Crossborder competency.

You are passionate about ensuring an effective Crossborder framework and bring extensive knowledge and experience in defining and implementing measures to mitigate Crossborder risk and to actively support the Bank's front units.

The role involves team leadership and high business exposure, and offers an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual to actively contribute to the Bank's Regulatory competency.


Responsibilities to include:

  • Drive the rollout of Crossborder standards to the Bank's locations and assume consolidated supervision for impacted entities
  • Maintain the Crossborder framework across all dimensions (incl. market organization, policies and procedures, training and certification, travel regime, product offering, monitoring and controls)
  • Identify major risks and areas for improvement, lead or contribute to key projects and initiatives to enhance the Crossborder framework
  • Manage and support audit requests related to Crossborder, define and implement appropriate measures for resolution

Profile:

  • University degree or equivalent education in Law, Compliance, Banking, Risk Management or Business Administration
  • 510 years practical experience in a Crossborder/ Business Risk Management/ Compliance role, from in a private banking environment
  • Specialist knowhow in Crossborder laws and regulations, standards and processes, risk management and controls
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, team player and high level of flexibility and adaptability to changes
  • Solution oriented, positive and handson working attitude, combining reliability, accuracy, and pragmatism
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills, able and committed to deliver high quality work
  • Willingness to take responsibility and ability to work independently
  • Proficient in English, German a strong plus excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Happy to be based in the Zurich area (no home office for this position)
  • Eligible or already in possession of a Swiss work permit for EU/EFTA nationals, equivalent or Swiss nationality
