Coordinator, Audit and Advisory Unit at GL C
The Audit and Advisory Unit (AAU) Coordinator is in charge of coordinating various services for the Audit and Advisory Unit, collaborating closely with the Unit Head, Audit Managers, team members (comprising more than 20 individuals), and other units within the OIG and The Secretariat. This role involves interaction with numerous internal and external stakeholders, necessitating a commitment to professionalism, efficiency, clear communication, confidentiality, proactiveness, diligence, and sound judgment. The Coordinator must effectively manage multiple competing demands, operating independently and swiftly meeting tight deadlines. Essential skills include strategic problem-solving and a solution-oriented mindset, with the ability to escalate issues for assistance when necessary and simplify solutions for decision-makers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate effective coordination and follow-up on AAU priorities.
- Lead key projects such as knowledge management and training curriculum.
- Serve as the PMO for all continuous development projects within the Unit.
Monitoring the AAU workplan:
- Analyze the progress of each engagement and deviations from the work plan.
- Collaborate with the Professional Services Unit (PSU) to track performance metrics.
- Support in scheduling audit and advisory engagements.
AAU training and development:
- Define Individual Development Plans and create training curriculum.
- Implement unit-wide training in alignment with skills assessments.
- Maintain staff certifications and liaise with audit bodies.
Learning and Knowledge management:
- Collect lessons learned from engagements and share with the team.
- Organize Learning and Development Weeks.
- Ensure policies and guidelines are up to date and accessible.
Resource Management:
- Manage staff leave plans and consultant allocation.
- Track assignment costs against budget.
Project Management and Coordination:
- Assist in continuous development projects.
- Ensure effective project management and meeting coordination.
- Support team meetings and organizational tasks.
Other: Perform additional duties as required by the Head of AAU/ AAU managers.
Qualifications:
Essential:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Communications, Health, or equivalent.
Desirable:
- Project management qualification or relevant work experience.
Experience:
Essential:
- Relevant experience in international/public/private institutions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Demonstrated organization and problem-solving skills.
Desirable:
- Minimum 5 years of related experience.
- Experience with OIG and/or Global Fund.

- Proficiency in English and ideally French.

- Strong communication and project management skills.
- Foundation in audit and analytical abilities.
