Job Description:

As part of Leonardo, Kopter is currently developing the AW09, a cutting-edge single-engine helicopter offering the largest cabin and cargo hold in its class, increased modularity, and modern electronic systems. The AW09 meets the latest safety standards, while providing enhanced performance and comfort at competitive operating costs. Kopter is positioned to be a center of excellence for new light helicopters within Leonardo, driving innovation in hybrid and electric propulsion systems. With a team of 320 talented individuals primarily located in Switzerland, near Zurich and in Mollis (Canton of Glarus).

Your responsibilities

  • To support the management and execution of the Program development
  • Ensure the correct application of relevant Kopter Business Standard and LHD Procedures
  • Support the definition of the product Roadmap and the Entry Into Service phase
  • Participate in Configuration & Change Management process

Tasks:

  • Support the Program Manager (PM) in aligning all Program & budgetary needs
  • Set priorities & assign actions to stakeholders
  • Assist in the preparation of presentations to upper Management
  • Collect all Program requirements from different stakeholders
  • Track requirements in a suitable document or database
  • Ensure proper communication & cascade down through the organization
  • Complete administrative activities related to the Change Management Process
  • Establish a close working relation with Design Organisation (DO) and Production Organisation (PO)

Your qualifications

  • Helicopter or aerospace industry background
  • 1-year experience in Aerospace/Mechanical Engineering
  • 1-3 years' experience in Project Management
  • Engineering degree or proven record in comparable function
  • Capability to analyze data and model them for decision making (using MS Excel)
  • Cooperation, teamwork, organizational, and communication competences
  • Positive attitude, proactivity, and problem-solving approach
  • English minimum B2 level (verbal and written)
